March 2011 \| Jeff will be on the island of Palau and nearby Pelileau for documentary work. January 2011 \| Return to Yucatan for exploration. June 21, 2010 \| Jeff will be showing short films and photographs and speaking to divers in Concord, New Hampshire. May 2010 \| Jeff has begun work on a short documentary film, The Wreck of the Jessica Ann. The Jessica Ann was an 80 foot fishing/trawler that sank off the coast of Maine in January of 2000. Jeff has already written extensively on the wreck. April 2010 \| The Maine Literary Guild announced the book Chosen Faith, Chosen Land has won a publishing award. Jeff was the photographer for the coffee table book. March 2010 \| Aruba: Photographing undersea wrecks and wildlife. February 2010 \| Noted undewater photographer Jeff Toorish is named the Chief Photographer for the prestigious International Legends of DIving program to be held in Cozumel. January 2010 \| Assignment Yucatan--Jeff Toorish is part of a team of divers who discover an ancient Mayan relic. According to historians at the Yucatan Department of Conservation, the pot is extremely rare. Thare are only two other examples of this type of Mayan relic, both are in museums, one in Mexico CIty and the other in the Smithsonian Institution.
